Tucked into a quiet valley in the Wicklow hills, BrookLodge & Macreddin Village is one of those rare venues where the setting does half the work for you. A private village built around a working organic farm, a brook, and a tiny chapel — it gives us more beautiful corners to shoot in than almost anywhere else we work.

A Tiny Chapel You Walk to Over a Bridge
Macreddin Chapel sits just across the brook from the hotel — non-denominational, so it suits blessings and humanist ceremonies alike, and it makes for one of our favourite short "walking to the ceremony" sequences.
A Self-Contained Village, Not Just a Hotel
Between the ivy-covered boardwalk, Acton's traditional pub, and the surrounding farmland, there's rarely a need to leave the grounds for a photo — the whole village gives us places to shoot.

Stone fireplaces, a mezzanine lounge, and a private garden with that same ivy-covered boardwalk — it photographs beautifully once the evening lighting comes up.
An Ice Cream and Prosecco Tradition
A number of couples we've shot here have stepped straight out of the chapel into ice cream and prosecco with their guests on the lawn — an easy, relaxed moment that always photographs well.
A Spa Morning Before "I Do"
The Wells Spa on-site means bridal party prep can happen without anyone leaving the grounds — great for relaxed, unhurried getting-ready photos earlier in the day.
