Trim, Co. Meath
Trim Castle Hotel looks straight out over Ireland's largest Anglo-Norman castle — the same one Mel Gibson used for both York and London in Braveheart. As a wedding photographer at Trim Castle Hotel, it's hard not to lean on that view; the rooftop terrace alone has given us some of our favourite shots of any venue we cover.
We've photographed and filmed several weddings hereTrim Castle stood in for both York and London in Mel Gibson's Braveheart, including its famous beheading scene.
The decked rooftop terrace looks straight out over the castle and St. Patrick's Church.
The Bridal Suite has a private terrace overlooking Trim Castle.
St. Patrick's Church, built in 1900 with rose stained-glass windows, sits a short stroll away.
Trim Castle itself is the biggest Anglo-Norman castle in the country.
The Hill of Tara and Newgrange are both close by.
Let's talk about capturing your day here — photography, video, or both.
